What will happen before my Ultrasound?
Preparation:
For certain exams (like abdominal or pelvic ultrasounds), you might need to fast for several hours or drink a specific amount of water to ensure clear digital imaging. Wear comfortable clothing, ideally a two-piece outfit, so you can easily access the area being examined. If you’re scheduled for a pelvic ultrasound, you may be asked to keep your bladder full by drinking water an hour before the exam.
Medications:
Notify your doctor about any medications you're taking. Some might need to be paused temporarily to ensure accurate results.
