About Ultrasound
At Insight Diagnostic Imaging, we understand the importance of trust and comfort in medical procedures. Our team of expert diagnostic sonographers is dedicated to delivering accurate imaging and ensuring you feel at ease during the entire exam process.
An ultrasound exam, or diagnostic sonography, uses safe, non-invasive and high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of the body’s internal structures, muscles, tendons and joints. These sound waves, which are beyond the range of human hearing, are directed into the body by an ultrasound technologist. The sound waves bounce back from the body which are used to create detailed images, providing valuable insights into various conditions in real-time for further analysis.
